Volusia County pickup truck wreck kills driver injures 2 others

Florida I-4 pickup truck crash kills Pasco County driver.
Daytona Beach, FL (JusticeNewsFlash.com)–The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) www.fhp.gov responded to a two vehicle automobile accident on Florida’s Interstate 4 in Volusia County involving a speeding pickup truck driver. As reported by the Orlando Sentinel, the 2006 Toyota pickup truck driver, Jose Chaves, 47, of Hudson, was killed when he side swiped a 2007 Ford Mustang while speeding west on I-4.
Motorists witnessed Chaves speeding and passing vehicles in both lanes just before the fatal wreck. Pickup truck passenger, 58 year old Antonio Guerras, was seriously injured in the motor vehicle collision (MVC) and transported by emergency medical personnel to the hospital. The driver of the Ford Mustang, Justin Shields, 19, of Wellington, was treated for minor injuries.
