Pender County plane crashes into homeowner’s backyard

Pilot crashes single engine plane into Pender County yard.
Charlotte, NC (JusticeNewsFlash.com)–A pilot crashed an amateur single engine plane into the backyard of a home near Burgaw, North Carolina on Thursday reported News 14 Carolina. The pilot was left unconscious and emergency responders transported him to New Hanover Regional Hospital emergency department with severe injuries for medical treatment.
The plane crashed shortly after taking off from a grass airfield in the yard of a home on Stag Park Road off John Humphrey Road. According to the North Carolina Highway Patrol the plane crash is under investigation and it is too early for the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) www.faa.gov to determine the cause.
